I'm so glad this week is over. HL102 really nearly killed me, but thank God that family and friends cared. I'm beginning to understand why my vocation is in NTU and not FASS.. It's not a bad thing afterall. I used to think NTU Eng Lit was where they dump useless people.. but I was wrong.. it's a place for people with talents, passion, brains, intelligence etc. If I'm already suffering in my studies here in NTU, I wonder how it'll be at FASS. Anyway, thank God for friends in school that are really angels sent by God to encourage me.

I mentioned that I wanna blog about my trip to the Toy Museum. Well, as there are many photos, I'm unable to upload them here. So if you wanna have a look on what are the toys they have, just check out the 3 albums in my Facebook.

Some of the toys I saw brought back memories. Speaking of memories..I was packing my cupboard when I saw my JJ uniform.. decided to try it on and see how I'd look (thank God I still can fit in without any problems). Kinda made me nostalgic.. Although the school sucked..there were other points that made going to school fun afterall.. Friends, eye-candy, Jimbo (HAHA), softball blabla.

Did I mention that Im so glad this suicidal week is over?

My favourite drama series didn't get much nominations for the 59th Emmy's.


They were only nominated for the following:
1. Outstanding Sound Editing for a Series - for the episode "A Tale of Two Cities"
2. Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series
3. Outstanding Single-camera Picture Editing for a Drama Series
4. Outstanding Supporting Actor ( Terry O'Quinn and Michael Emerson got nominated, but seriously none of them will get the title cuz they could have carried their roles out better)
5. Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series - for their season 3 finale (I HOPE THEY GET THIS AWARD!)


I have this feeling that Heroes will get a couple of awards. I haven't exactly watched the series, but many people like it.


I can finally watch the full-length Emmy's tomorrow night since I don't have tutorial on Tuesday =D All these years, I couldn't catch the Emmy's live because I had to go to school.. but it was too late to watch the whole event at night cuz it will end too late and there'd be school the next day.


Oh.. Pris*n Bre*k didn't get any nominations? HAH! Great.. cuz only their first season was good. They should just stop the whole production. I heard the end of Season 2 was madness. Glad I didn't waste my time on it.



Another new week..and I've yet to complete HOD.

Just reliving some childhood memories =D

Yes, I played these kinda toys when I was a kid. I had a wonderful childhood and I loved my childhood playing police story (though nobody else in the family played it with me).
The only thing my sister fully cooperated with me in games are the stupid ones like "Poor thing" (where we acted as poor peasants, getting 'milk' from the tree everyday), "Teacher" (where she ALWAYS insist on being the teacher. Well she will be living her dream in a couple of year's time), "Doctor" (where our soft-toys will be lined up in neat rows waiting to see the doctor). Hah, I love my childhood. I didn't need Barbie dolls to make my childhood life a better one. In fact, I didn't really like them. Polly Pocket was still alright. My other favourite toys were LEGO(!), construction set (where they give u a hammer and screws), and doctor set. Ahh..if only I could be a kid again, then I wouldn't have to think about Heart of Darkness, Chaucer, and some other profound literature stuff.

Literature tutorial was interestingly mind-boggling. We were asked to read Chaucer's General Prologue which was in MIDDLE ENGLISH (not present day english). Mind you, it's not even Shakespearean English with the thees and the thous. Seriously I don't even know which era it came from. Here's the first 12 lines that I have to MEMORISE by next week.

I finally bought a PDA phone! I'm still having lots of problems using it, so I'm currently still using my W800i while I meddle with the simcardless-PDA phone. Dopod 838 Pro, reviews said it's good so I hope that I can experience the goodness of the phone =D. Guess I need a month to familiarise myself with the features.

Thank God it's Friday! Weekends are coming!!!! YAY!

Anyway! I dreamt about Harry Potter yesterday! Probably one of the best dreams ever. I was a new character in Harry Potter's world, and I dreamt that when dementors came in front of me, I just had to blow them away. Serious! Harry Potter taught me that in my dream ok!

And so, my 19th Bday past...the good part was, I had a great time spent with my family. Miserable part is, 98% of my supposedly close friends forgot. Not that I'm some kinda big shot.. but, it's quite sad to have your close friends forgetting.

Nonetheless I enjoyed the eve of my birthday very much, coz I finally met up with CHUA SIYAN after how many donkey years?!? So so so sweet of her to treat me to a relatively pricely dinner, PLUS(!) she gave me CD Rama vouchers knowing that I want the Transformers soundtrack so badly! I was so touched i nearly cried haha. I paid for our cam-whoring session at the computer cameras.. it was so fun drawing silly things on our photos.. and I don't dare put it up lest it embarasses the both of us hehe.

Then there was the surprise bday celebration my mom planned during the farewell dinner for Jackson.. I was so so so surprised by the lovely cake Aunt Annie bought!

I actually enjoyed my bday eve and not my bday itself haha, but i definitely enjoyed watching Harry Potter (my first time watching HP in the cinema! =,=) and eating DUCKRICE AT PASIR PANJANG (South Buona Vista to be exact). Nothing's change there.. Mr. Faster-than-a-calculator is still there, and their duck and duck gravy is still as yummy :)

After watching Harry Potter, I wish I studied at Hogwarts..
